19. NMVTIS Consumer Access Product Disclaimer

CarReport uses data from the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS). NMVTIS is a U.S. government database designed to provide reliable title and brand history information for vehicles. However, it does not contain comprehensive repair history.

Important Notes:

• Not all states provide complete vehicle data to NMVTIS in real time. Reporting times may vary, with some states updating data in real time and others within a few days.
• NMVTIS may not include all vehicles in the U.S., and certain vehicles may be managed by separate state agencies.
• The system includes information on vehicle titles, brands, and odometer readings, as well as data from insurance companies and salvage yards.
• Information on significant damage may not be available if the vehicle was not declared a "total loss" by an insurance company or a state titling agency.

A vehicle history report is not a substitute for an independent vehicle inspection. We strongly recommend obtaining an independent inspection before making any purchasing decisions. For further details on interpreting NMVTIS data, visit vehiclehistory.bja.ojp.gov.

20. NVS Data Disclaimer

CarReport may use data from the National Vehicle Service (NVS) database to include lien information in our Vehicle History Reports. This information is presented "as is," and may not be complete, timely, or accurate. We make no warranties regarding the validity of this data, and reliance on NVS data is at your own risk.

21. Vehicle Inspection Report Disclaimer

CarReport's Vehicle Inspection Reports are intended to provide general information and should not be interpreted as an endorsement or recommendation for making a bid or purchase. We do not perform appraisals or issue value opinions unless expressly agreed upon in writing.

CarReport is not liable for any damages arising from the use or non-use of this information. Your reliance on any inspection report is at your own risk.

22. Free Services Disclaimer

CarReport offers several free services, including a VIN Decoder, Vehicle Recalls Check, and Auto Auction Check.

a) VIN Decoder:

Our VIN Decoder provides a breakdown of the vehicle's coded information, such as model year, make, trim, and engine type. We do not guarantee the accuracy of the decoded information. Use of this service is at your own risk.

b) Vehicle Recalls Check:

Our Vehicle Recalls Check uses the vehicle's year, make, and model to identify open recalls. The data comes from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and is updated weekly. CarReport does not guarantee the accuracy of this data. Contact your vehicle's manufacturer for further recall details.

c) Auto Auction Check:

The Auto Auction Check analyzes the VIN to determine if the vehicle has appeared in auto auctions. We do not guarantee the timeliness or completeness of this data. Reliance on the Auto Auction Check is at your own risk.

23. Dealer Program Terms

This section applies to CarReport's Dealer Program, established between CarReport USA Inc. and subscribing partners.

1. Payment & Fees:
   • Partners may purchase services for use or resale. Payments are prepaid and non-refundable unless otherwise specified in writing.
   • CarReport reserves the right to adjust pricing structures without prior notice.
2. Relationships:
   • Partners act as independent contractors and have no authority to bind CarReport in any legal agreements.
   • Partners must not misrepresent themselves as agents of CarReport.
3. Term, Limitations, and Termination:
   • This agreement may be terminated by either party with written notice. Termination does not relieve parties of accrued obligations.
4. Product Changes:
   • CarReport reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or update any services at any time without prior notice.
5. Limitation of Liability:
   • CarReport is not liable for any damages resulting from the use of Dealer Program services. Indemnification clauses apply as per the terms of the agreement.
6. Use of CarReport Trademarks:
   • Partners may use CarReport's trademarks with explicit permission. Misuse of trademarks is prohibited and must cease immediately upon termination of the agreement.
7. Proprietary Information:
   • Both parties must maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information. This obligation extends for five years beyond the termination of the agreement.
8. Compliance with Laws:
   • Partners agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. CarReport disclaims liability for any partner's failure to comply with these requirements.
